Repeat post notices

I am getting repeat notifications for posts that were made a day before, they have today's date on them. I do get the original notice a short time after a post is made but then I get a second notice of the same post the next day. Is there a glitch in the FTE system?

I was just wondering if I'm the only one getting these.

There's something happening. My notices for some reason go to the spam folder, which is okay, that doesn't matter, but there's a big delay in them coming for some reason. I'm seeing the new postings on the site long before getting the notices. Stu

Ditto on the delay. And multiple notices as well.

I like to blame yahoo, but maybe its not just yahoo?

Ive noticed in the past i can get 6 or 7 replies to a post without any notification and then on the 8th reply (this is just an example) then i will get a reply notification. Strange.

I've been getting notification sometimes 2 days late. Yesterday there were 96 "new" notifications 1 and 2 days late.

Looks like they "reset" the databases a couple of times lately. I got duplicate/late notices too. A post disappeared too.

I also get delayed notices. I'll check the board, see a new posts, 2-3, or more, and then get a notification an hour later. I haven't gotten any notices for any of the posts to this thread. I'll contact the admins but I just wanted to check here first to see if was my system or something related to the board.

Something's rotten in Denmark. Or maybe in El Segundo

The Internet Brands tech folks are working on the problem.

Thanks for the info, Steve. I thought something might have been messed up with my email settings or something.

Does YAHOO own FTE now? - It's acting like some of their sites that they have "Made Better" without any changes

I've received so many repeat notices, I've unsubscribed from the threads. I hope that works.

I received a ton of notices this morning. I was also receiving random notices during the day this week. I have mine set up for a daily update so normally they would just arrive in the middle of the night. Very odd.

Maybe the big dump last night was the final stage of them cleaning up the problem.

The biggest pain for me is when I get a notification to a post I'm like a kid waiting for the mailman to come and see what he brought. I get a notice, click on the link only to find it's a post that I had already read two days ago, bummer.

Doesn't look like it. I just received six notifications and they ranged from two hours to two days old.

Speaking of old, this is getting there.
