Not sure how, or even why it was done, but some researchers found that four out of six nicknames that people give their trucks use words that start with the letter "B".

Weird but it's three out of four for the trucks I've nicked. My 65 F250 was "Jack the Bear", my 85 F 250 was "Hurly Burly", and my 75 Highboy was "Dirty Beast".

My 96 "Bronco" I was thinking of calling Red Rider.

 

Hmm I've owned mine since 07.. but I have yet to give it a name. I've always been terrible at naming things. One of my close friends and I used to always name pretty much anything "Bubba Jones" in grade-school because we liked coming up with stupid sounding things... You can still see I use it today because I'm not good at coming up with names.

I've always wanted to name it but I haven't. I guess Bubba Jones has a B in it so maybe B names are just good names in general. In fact I know they are. I can't think of ANY uncool Bruces'.... Bruce Willis, Bruce Lee, Bruce Campbell, Bruce Boxlighnter, Bruce Wayne (despite now quite real).. I could go on. Bruce is an awesome name..

I think I just came up with my truck's name now when typing! Finally!

Edit: I can't believe I never thought of it being Bruce, such a good fit

Bored? This is important stuff! With the name Bruce, my truck is going to be a lot tougher than it already is! Plus I am getting some new AFR heads for a little cheaper that I'll be installing when I get a few days off in a row. That won't be boring! I hope I know what to do though, it's my daily driver so I can't afford to mess it up!

lol my bronco is named Old blue

Used to have a truck in high school me and my buddies called big blue we named her after that truck, and seeing how that truck was a lot newer then the bronco old blue seemed to fit.

 

I just call mine "The Bronk" There's that "B" again.
