Transaction with Johnny F 100 in Gilbert,Az

First off thanks to smallello for finding the CL ad.
I was looking for 56 doors and smallello steered me to a CL ad that had some.
I usually stay away from CL because of several bad deals others have had.
I called and spoke with Johnny and he sent me a video of the doors and they looked good. A price was quoted and we discussed the deal in general. At first I was a little Leary because Johnny did not do PayPal or credit cards. This is usually a RED FLAG to me.
I really needed some doors and I was fortunate that my nephew lived just a few blocks from Johnny.
I had him go look at the doors and told him what I wanted. He assured me that these were good doors for my project.
So rather than send a personal check and be waiting for it to clear my nephew paid for the doors to expedite the sale.
We discussed shipping options and ALL were going to be big bucks.
Johnny said he goes to DFW Texas every few weeks and that he could bring them that far and I could meet him for pickup.
Well today the wife and I made the 700 mile round trip and picked up the doors.
They were EXACTLY as described down to the smallest detail.
Johnny seem to be very CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented.
I can say it was a GREAT TRANSACTION and I would not hesitate to do business with him again.
So now a major hurdle has been achieved and I can move on with my truck knowing I have solid doors.
Highly recommend Johnny's F 100 parts. I for one had a good transaction!

Thanks for taking to time to share the positive experience. So many times all we hear about is the deals gone sour and ripoff artists. Nice of you to circle back and give credit where credit is due.

I met him at the Goodguys show in Scottsdale. Seemed like a stand-up guy. Then I saw the CL ad and saw your post... glad I could help!

Was just at his place 2 weeks ago and he not only took care of me, but we chatted for about an hour about all things Ford trucks.... might be a little higher than CL or Ebay - but well worth it.
