What happened to the 2012 Excursion thread?

I check in to see the progress on the Excursion only to find the thread closed and all of the pictures deleted. What's that all about?

From the excursion thread:

I'm Sorry guys, due to FTE Guidelines found here: Ford Truck Enthusiasts - Discussion Forum Guidelines

...specifically point number 9, we do not discuss issues with Moderation or Site Policy in an open forum. Because of that, for those that have already seen the posts above before I deleted them, you'll notice they are now gone.

I don't want to leave it as just that though, because Paul's build was well liked and well followed by a lot of people.

Paul's creative talent and skills are incredible. But due to occurrences that happened, people above my pay grade made a decision and unfortunately, we will no longer get updates on Paul's build.

I really cannot be more specific than that, and even what I've posted is more than I should have. But I'm bending the rules a bit out of respect for all of you guys here in the Ex forum. I hope you can understand the position this situation puts me in, and will understand why I now have to lock this thread.

Some kind of sheet went on in there I guess and now you'll have to follow it on facebook I guess. Losers that own this site did it.

I guess I was surprised because there didn't seem to be any kind of crap going on in the 6.7 thread. It was just a bunch of pictures of a cool project and a bunch of people telling him how great it was. Maybe he was outed as a Tea Party supporter, and got shut down by the IRS NSA EPA.

Interesting.
If certain things were discussed in the other section, sad to see the 6.7 topic was locked down also.
Since they won't discuss it, I guess we'll never know. His previous builds were great to follow, as was this one.

I did read his previous build thread, I recall most issues were people wanting to buy it or exchange money in some way to get their own. Maybe it was too off topic over here?

It's simply not allowed so if it got out of hand, that's probably our answer then.

Even if things got off topic, which I didn't see, why not delete those comments instead of a whole post. This sucks.

So, does this mean that all emission threads will be deleted too?

Since, these threads contribute to breaking Federal Laws that we all know is wrong, but we do it any way. Aren’t we here to discuss issues as Ford Truck Enthusiasts as the site states? There always can be an exception to policy.

I’ve learned a lot from people trying new things and taking a chance with their own vehicles. Heck, I modded my truck from these actions.

Just asking a few questions.
