That's definitely NOT factory. Someone has pulled a panel out of some other vehicle. Doesn't look like they did a bad job, but from one close-up picture you can't really judge workmanship.

It's hard to say that for sure iggybob. The truck is listed in the ad as a 78 but has all the markings of a 73-75 truck. And these trucks came with either the full gauge cluster or the cluster with idiot lights.

looks like my old 84 cutlass supreme dash...I'd be surprised if that is the correct picture for that truck.

but even with the idiot lights, im pretty certain that Gauge panel wasnt used in these trucks.....the orientation of the Speedometer is ALL wrong, im pretty certain that all the 73-79 F series had 3 distinct Gauge "holes", center one had speedo, right had temp and alt, left had oil pressure and fuel level as i recall. all three holes were vertical rectangles, taller than they were wide...this panel pictured in the ad looks more like a 67-72 Bumpside cluster

in the picture, the truck had Ranger XLT badges on the bed, id be stunned to see no gauges on a rather deluxe truck, besides that picture of the Olds dash is identical.....

Most of us Canucks still don't care for that wonderful Metric system that was shoved down our throats many years ago by a certain Prime Minister....

Kind of an interesting speedo install though. I don't know why somebody would do such a thing but well done never the less....
