Hood Hinges

I see Classic Haulers have reproduction hood hinges for sale for the 1952 trucks. Has anyone purchased them and know what quality they are.

Thanks

Hey WGC, I bought a set for my '49 M47. Very nice product. Took a lot of the movement out of opening the hood. My other ones were well worn. Kind of pricey getting them shipped to Bright's Grove, Ont. but I won't need another set.

Greg,
Did those new hinges help any with the opening height of the hood? Sure is a pain to work on that engine under the hood! LOL

Pretty sure the hood will never open wide enough using stock springs and hinges. That's just the way it is. I think that's why so many choose to tilt the hood.

Joe is right Doug. No difference in the hood opening. Still a pain to work under the hood. And I got some ahead when the debugging test drives start in the spring.

Everything is expensive in Ontario. My hood was being pushed up at the back when closed and I have to push it down. I am hoping this will fix it.

Thanks
