Lights for the rear hatch?

I found this a few days ago on p̶i̶n̶t̶r̶e̶s̶t̶ some really manly website and thought it might be a really neat idea. I have a set of these that have been lying around waiting on a project to fit in I might try out.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-Super-Bright-5M-SMD-3528-600-White-LED-Flexible-Strip-light-DC12V-/221242479044?pt=US_Car_Lighting&hash=item33831451c4

Thoughts guys? I was thinking a set under each barn door and a strip at the hatch base like in the picture.

I actually have this mod on my list, plan on lighting up my rear hatch area as well as under the hood with the LED strips. I also plan to add some to the new TT for setup after dark chores. The cut to length strips are a pretty cool product.

The hood I understand, maybe under the doors, but why the rear hatch?

I was just looking at them last night to add to my new TT for better outdoor lighting.

Just look at the picture, there is 90% visibility behind that thing. If you need to stop and service anything or triage someone that's perfect!

The LEDs will light up the ground behind the Ex much better/more than the interior lights, makes for easier and safer loading and unloading of gear (and big dumb dogs) from the back. Also will provide mucho lighto for after dark TT hitching and unhitching.

Yeah, Ya'll are southerners to me but hey now...as of when i head home at night i'm starting to get slight amounts of dusk not pitch black!! i even saw that big yellow ball in the sky today on my lunch break!! i think we are gaining 5 mins or so a day of daylight right now.

the 24 hr light during the summer months is well worth the trade off though
