To head gasket or not to headgasket

04 f250 6.0 . Slight coolant loss, moisture in egt but not sloppy wet. No smoke, but high pressure in degaus tank. Deltas are 8-11. Was told it was a head gasket leak allowing pressure to build fast and stay high. I have also been told it was an egr cooler leaking.
Thinking about doing studs, gaskets, oil cooler and egr delete all at once. Or just do egr delete and oil cooler replacement?

I have a new ficm with an atlas 40 tune. Blue spring mod, just changed oil and added hot shot secret. Open exhaust, and fresh fuel and air filters.

If you're going to do the EGR delete anyway then do it first. That will eliminate the question of the EGR cooler. Is it blowing major coolant from the cap and what is the pressure?

It doesn't always blow coolant but it has leaked some. Even after replacing the cap. It will build to 16+ and hold it

In addition to Tim's questions/advice, do you have an early 04 (ie where is your ICP sensor)?

Early 04 (03 engines) had the "stout" EGR cooler.

Later 04. Thought about attempting it my self. But would like to do the oil cooler as preventive maintenence. But if I am that deep might as well have the gaskets and head done.

i puke a fair amount of coolant when pulling on a grade as well, but have a full EGR delete.. i'm thinking gaskets for both of us based on the research i've done. still have some hope i'm flash boiling in the oil cooler based on my deltas, but i fear the worst.
