Truck will not start

My '92 f150 (5.0 v8) has been sitting inside my shop for the last 11 months and hasn't been cranked during that time. Today I bought a new battery for it and tried to start it and it turns over great but would never crank. What are some things to check or look for? One of my concerns is the gas has gone bad which I'm not sure how far into it I would need to go to clear it all out.

Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

The first step is to figure out if you are lacking spark or fuel. It's easiest to check for spark.

if it sat for 11 months and not run, there is a very good change the "gas" went bad, fouled the injectors and took out the fuel pump.
ethanol gas mix is only good for around 3-4 months, and the ethanol attracts water which in turn destroys electric in tank fuel pumps.

I'm in the same boat as tigerfan79. What is the recommend method for resolving the bad fuel problem?

Check the shrader valve on the driver side fuel rail, with the key in the "run" position it should spray out fuel if not then its time to drop the tank and clean everything out and change the filter too.
