I wrecked my truck a few weeks back the only damage was to the front bumper, i've been searching craigslist and have been shooting blanks finding a replacment 99-04 bumper, i have however found a few '11 '12 and '13 bumpers. will one of those fit on my truck?

 

Not for sure, but the way the headlights and grill are set up for the 2013, unless you were to change the whole front end but otherwise I wouldn't think so.

 

I am pretty sure no. There was a fellow FTEr that did this but he had body shop experience and was good with a torch. I think the frame had to be cut and everything.

 

One thing I learned about "upgrading" bumpers is Ford made successive bumpers lighter (flimsier). It took some effort to pull my damaged one off, but I could lift the newer one quite easily. My back bumper came off a 6.0L Superduty... maybe a front bumper will work from one of those.

I stand corrected. And the funny part is I remember reading that thread a while ago.

 

Looks like I'll be giving one of the guys with an 11-13 bumper for sale on CL here a call in the next few days
