From the pics, it looks like the flames are raised. Like they were pressed, or beat in with bag and mallet, but they are ghost flames in the paint right? They are very cool!

I'm pretty sure that it would be a minimum of 10hp per wheel.

John, you got me! I was thinking John Niolon usually has some relevant, helpful, tech tips. This should be interesting. I hope it is something I can use one my trucks.....

Look inside the fender, it is fiberglass and they are made into the fender.

those are fiberglass fenders and they are molded in. my multitalented body man is the originator of these... added to the fenders using kitty hair and a top coat of fiberglass... their profile is probably 1/4 to 3/8" high in center tapering off to nothing.... pretty cool touch I think. I saw them on a big old honkin box truck converted to a dually... they did them on the sides of the dually fenders ... they had a higher side wall.... I like mine on top... might continue the effect under the tilt hood...
