Nope, most people have no idea what it is, how it works, or want to risk getting dirty.

I agree with Misky6.0 with one exception. If your in High School.
I know some really stupid people at mine that WOULD mess with
your ride and that is something they may do.

There's a spring clip that you can put on the fumoto that is stiff enough you need pliers to remove it. I figure if someone has the tool to remove the spring clip, they could equally use it to open a normal drain plug, so there is not really an increased risk there.

I'd use a copper gasket long before a paper gasket or o-ring. My Fumoto has been installed on my truck for over 100,000 miles and the original copper gasket is still sealing up perfectly.

Honestly I don't think anybody is going to creep under your truck and drain your oil. There's tons of other crap people could do if they really wanted to screw you. Anyways take a look at the drain valve video. Nobody knows that the drain valve is on your truck in the first place, so nothing to worry about.
