55 carb linkage 351w

351 w carb linkage using orignal peddle. has anyone done this, is there a kit.

I'll be trying this on my '53 and 351w combo. The original pedal is in. I have 2 female heim joints which will be connected by a 10-32 threaded rod. One end to the edelbrock carb the other will need to be connected to the original pedal rod. It looks like that end will need to be offset with a long bolt to make the link straight from the carb to pedal rod.
That's the plan anyway. The truck in in the deep freeze until work resumes in the spring.

I could not make this work, 55 with a 351. I ended up with a lokar pedal and cable, works great. Mounted pedal to trans cover very comfortable
