How many people have put headers on a 302

I did, at least I finished the job hack job the PO started. Ck our old 66-77 Bronco forums for some links to aftermarket parts.
The 289 and 302 is all that is in most of them. Engine - V8 302 - Bronco Connection LLC
And here is a link to a TON of tech info. Offroad Tech Articles, Projects and 4x4 related Info
Always a good read to get a little for info on some truck related things.

Does a 351w count? Like a 302.
Ford racing has 3 sets off SS shorty headers available. Seem like 1 or 2 are for a mustang and the other is for a 80's trucks.
I've bought them all trying to fit headers on a set GT40P heads. BTW If you want GT40 heads pay up and get GT40 heads not the P's. PITA fitting exhaust.
Bronco graveyard has a set of L&L long tube headers. Very nice pieces. I had a problem hitting the frame rail with 351w. But the Windsor is like 1-1/2" wider at the exhaust ports than a 302. These headers are for 302 in the 66-77 broncos.
Like 77&79 says finding something for an early bronco is a good way to go. As most of the same features are on both - front drive shaft, transfer case, clutch linkage etc....
If is a manual trans then it's even harder finding the right fit because the clutch linkage takes up so much room.
I ended up building a set for my 79 F159 4x4.
Was not easy, but they came out Ok.
Sorry about the pic size. I'll fix it when I get home. Darn smart phones aren't so smart.

Thanks for the comment, been building a life long dream.
I made that set. Started with a set of Hookers for a 351M in a dent 150 4x4. Since the port centers distances are the same between the two, thought I would simply cut off the 351m flanges off and weld windsor flanges on. Ended up being a whole lot more because the flanges are at different angles. The Windsor is nearly straight up and down where as the 351m is at nearly a 45 degree angle, leaving the primaries too short to reach the flanges.
If I remember right, the L&L header hit my frame rail by just a little interference. The Windsor is (I think) like 3/4" per side wider than a 302. I bet they would fit on a 302. Maybe ask the bronco guys how wide the frame is and compare that to your frame width.
The L&L headers were really nice, heavy gauge tubing with 1/2" flange. Pretty bummed they didn't fit.

I used these same headers in my '77 4x4 when I installed my 302. They fit perfect.

No, I ended up using Ford Racing Mustang Shorties. Bolted on fine, fit in the truck fine. But now that I think about it, clutch linkage wouldn't fit. I ended up getting a hydraulic clutch setup from an '85 F150 that had a 302. It was easy to install and I'm way happier then with the linkage.

I'm running a set of mustang style shorties on the 351W in my shortbox 4x4. They fit alright. The collector is a bit tight to the top of the frame on the passenger side kind of dumps right on it. The headers came on a 302 that was in a parts truck I bought. Would have more room on the 302 for sure. I mostly used them as they seem to be a fairly good quality header and I already had them. I'm also running an automatic so I can't comment on the fit around clutch linkage.
