1979 f150 freewheeling edition

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the rarity of a 1979 f150 freewheeling edition with original decals and interior? The truck is starting to form rust and was wondering if its worth redoing it as an f150 or keeping it as the freewheeling?

I love seeing the old freewheeling trucks and broncos. Have any pics of it?
If it is in fairly decent shape I would keep it as is and try to keep the rust under control(not easy).
There is a fellow on another forum that had the chromatic stripes recreated and put them on his bronco when it was restored. I don't know if he has any extra sets left but that thing looks amazing.

Upload your pics to Photobucket and then copy and paste the IMG link into your post.

I'm the guy with the decals, here's my Bronco:

I have been working on getting the pickup versions ready for production, but have had a hard time getting much interest. I've sold almost 20 sets of Bronco stripes, but can't seem to get my minimum of 5 buyers for the truck stripes.
Feel free to PM me for info, and definitely get some pictures up please!

Any interest in creating the 78 version of Freewheeling stripes?

This is my 78 Bronco in 1994. Was owned by my dad. He sold it in 95 or 96. I just recently got it back but the guy dad sold it to had it painted camoflauge and used it for running around in the bottoms and hunting. I want to eventually restore it back to its glory.

Find out who owns it and save the thing'!!! Body still looks good, hard to believe you found that in the woods in that good condition, here in Canada the only thing left of a vehicle you find in the woods is a bit of frame and some tires, maybe some mirrors if your lucky aha

This is a factory optional, reflective decal package that was available from the factory in 1979 only. I have a copy of the original Dealer Information sheet on these, that diagrams the best way to position Broncos and pickups at the dealership to allow passing headlights to light up the stripes, and the best angle for salesmen to use flashlights to demonstrate to customers how light reflects from them. Cool stuff.

I would love to do it, there is a ton of interest in that version. However, I need at least a partial NOS set to make it happen, and nobody has been able to come up with one. If you find one, let me know.

Do you have any freewheeling stripes for a 78. Short box. It's different than the 79.

Damn that thing is gorgeous. Can't wait to get my 78 Bronco done. But seeing how I have 3 trucks waiting for resto. it's going to be awhile. And mine is not a freewheeling package. Do you have any interior pics of that beautiful machine?
