61/62 F100 rear ends
#2
The '61 F-Series brochure, not definitive but a good starting point, shows 3.22, 3.70, 3.89, and 4.11 ratios available with the six-cylinder, 3.22, 3.70, and 3.89 ratios available with the V8, and 3.73 and 3.92 ratios available with the optional LSD. These were the 2WD ratios.
By manufacturer, I gather most of the F-100 rear axles were Ford and not Spicer-Dana. Others will know far more on this subject.

1) Ford 9" rear axle (does not have an inspection cover).
2) Spicer (Dana) 44 rear axle with Limited Slip (has an inspection cover).
1959/62: If Limited Slip was ordered, FoMoCo installed Spicer (Dana) 44's in F100's.
Note: "Locking Type" referred to in the spec sheet is a Spicer (Dana) 44.
