New vs Old Engine Oil EOT's

Thought it was interesting that my EOT was 198-200 yesterday before new oil and 204-206 today with New Oil. Similar driving and ambient temps.

Probably can chalk that up to the new oil being thicker assuming all things were equal between the days (ambient temps, driving conditions).

I was thinking the same thing. I'm using the same Rotella Synthetic, all bought the same time. Ambient temps, no trailer, no extra load, similar driving conditions.
