Ross you've hit the nail on the head with it just takes one to sell the place. Being in horse country it takes a special someone to want this life style. We know it will happen just not 100% sure we are ready plus we have a few other things that are going on in life that may make it so we stay here. That is why I said I will make a decision as soon as possible. The last influence on that decision will be TS2014. If it works out great if not I'm sure this group will figure out a great place to get together. Have fun.

Mammoth Caverns outside of Bowling Green, KY had cabins the last time I was there. The caverns and the Corvette facory and museum could provide some local entertainment.

But during the week of the EFV8 meet the other motels shouldn't be booked. I'd be willing to host a get together, probably toward the end of the week - say 8/21 through 8/23 - to piggy back on the EFV8 meet. I'm out in the country on 3 acres but close to town. I have a motor home that maybe a half dozen guys could sleep in if needed. Plenty of room to cook out and have a bonfire. You could bring your families and also take in the Lincoln sites. So, there's my offer. Stu

Walford mentioned Indian Creek Campgrounds - There is also Geneva On The Lake State Park - It has camping, cabins and a lodge - The cabins include sheet, towels, dishes, cook ware, utensils, and the have heat/air conditioning http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/Portals/par...evaparkmap.pdf -
There are motels nearby and most important Bill could probably organize a thou of the Geneva On The Lake City Jail where I spent one night of my well spent youth
Almost all the Ohio State Parks have Camping and cabins there are quite a few in South West Ohio which puts them in Ross's bullseye - I have spent time in most of them either fishing or camping - I did about 15 of my 22 years in the AF in that area - Other states may have similar setups
Just some more options

Man, that looks great, Chris! Not as many cabins as would be ideal (5), tho, total capacity 32 people. Great ratings on TripAdvisor.

I would ask and see if we where to rent all the cabins if we could bring in campers and hook up for a fee to the cabins . Like I posted I can house 3 or 4 guys or a couple in my camper that I would bring down .

There are three other meltable cabin places with in 8-10 miles from this place . So once this place is full we could have late comers sleep at the three other cabin places and then meet up here altogether .?

That place looks very promising. I checked their availability calendar. All of those cabins are available during our time period. The central location is perfect also. It also has wifi. That pavilion with the picnic tables and the grills is also very nice. What do you guys think?

I don't think I want to sleep in a "meltable" cabin..... lol

I know sometimes my fat fingers hit the wrong key or two keys at the same time but those cabins don't sound very appealing to me.
