rear end info needed

I'm in need of yalls input on which parts would be best for my f100, will be buying a locker and new axle shafts, ring and pinion etc. Which brand of locker is best detriot, eaton? and how many spline count 31 or 35, I'm leaning toward 3.73 or 3.89 gears. The truck will be used for street use but will see some track time aswell currently has a 521 with a built C6 and transbrake, just ordered my caltracs and already have some mickey thompsons stickys 295/65r15. Any info is appreciated.

Higher spline count typically equals more strength, and the old fashioned Detroit Locker is as strong a differential as is made.........can i assume with that engine, axle gearing, and thoughts of a locker, you wont be driving this EVER in snow or rain?
