What is the best exhaust and intake for the 6.2 SD?

 

I dont have a 6.2 but having a gas truck and reading other people's posts I say leave the intake stock, and simply weld what ever your favorite muffler is into the stock pipe.

 

Ok, i don't want anything loud. Just looking for a nice rumble.

 

im running basically true duals, dual in dual out magnaflow muffler and its quiet in the cab cruising and got that awesome rumble outside

Muffler delete. Leave the resonators and take the muffler out, bend and weld pipe in place. Muffler shop charged me 50 bucks. I never did an acceleration or drive by, but there is the cold start vid:

 

Well 4 days into owning my 11 last week.. I brought it down to the muffler shop and they put on a magnaflow 12259 muffler. Has nice rumble at idea.. and not to loud at speed.

 

Onlydjmac, did they keep the resonators on and just swapped the factory muffler?

 

Yes. Muffler shop ownee suggested to try swap firat and if I wanted it louder after he cut resonator out too. But im fine with the sound of the magnaflow muffler.

 

Cool. I will be doing the same real soon, was quoted a reasonable price to just go with a large MF muffler and keep all remaining stock. I was just wondering with the resonators still in place how it would be. Thanks for the feedback. LOVE the sound of MF.

 

I have roush intake and exhaust and it sounds great. Might be a little loud for you though!

 

You have this on a Superduty?
If so where did you pick them up from

 

My bad I didn't see your truck was a 250! I have it on a 150. I not sure if they have a kit for the super duty. Maybe check their website.
