My nuetral switch stop working all the time.The retainer on the idler
is missing and there is defintely some play in the upper bushing.I
doubt a new bushing will do it.Is there any brass bushing fixes or anything
made?

 

I do not know of any brass bushing fix kit out there. I do know the local Menards store has a decent selection of brass bushings. Also if you in a bind you can remove the safety switch and just use a jump per wire to over ride it. That I what I have done and it works fine. Just gotta remember to always be cautious is what gear your in when starting the truck.
