Anything special you are doing to the motor before it goes in?

Only reason I stuck to the 5.0 is my truck looks bone stock. Down to factory exit exhaust. I didnt want people to know what I was running

 

Very interested in this build. I also am considering a 4.6 swap but mine will be into a 96 F150. Depending on how custom you want to get with it you might could graft the Crown Vic front subframe onto the Ranger Frame. Just a thought.

 

As of now the only mods for the motor are a cobra intake imrc delete, egr delete, Im shooting for about 320 at the crank after the tune.

 

Should be pretty easy to hit that kind of power with that engine

 

Yep, keep us posted. Not that far away I couldn't stop by to see project. Working on one of the new motors is what scares a lot of people. Imagine its like those who loved and worked on the flathead motors having to learn all about the OHV
