Can anyone tell me if they know the stock horsepower rating for the I6 300 EFI engine?

Also can someone tell me how to determine the gear ratio I have on my truck? I cant afford the manual, Im broke.

 

For the gear ratio there is a tag bolted on with the diff cover. The first 3 digits in the bottom row are the ratio, the next 2 should be 88 which means 8.8" ford axle. If it has limited slip there will be a L in place of the decimal point like this 3L55. The first digit is partialy covered by a bolt most of the time. You can also post the axle code from the drivers door jamb decal.

 

HP is, I believe, about 150, with torque at around 260 lbs/ft.
