Slamming I beam F100

Does anyone have any pics of a twin I beam front end that's been slammed. Or any pics of a slammed front end for that matter? I have a crown Vic front end but having second thoughts

"Slammed" is a relative term... three inches with I-beams.

Start surfing thru this thread: pics of lowered 67-72 ford trucks?

are you building something to drive or are you building something to park at the fair ground?

I have never under stood the park it and set the rockers on the ground thing.

if you are building a driver the crown vic front is the way to go lowering (springs ) are available which should put the bottom of your front bumper less than 10 inches off the ground.

you will do the whole install for less than the cost of dream beams if you do the work yourself
also don't forget the brakes , rack steering , at the super budget price

I'm on 3" drop beams and I daily drive the thing. It handles like a car, is very comfortable, and I have no complaints, especially when you look at how little it costs to install drop beams.

Now, as you can see in this picture, you can't full on slam the body of the truck with the drop beams because they'll touch before the body touches.

I beams do not get really slammed on the ground. I have pictures on this thread of my 73 Ford F100 with dropped Dream Beams on it. I ws going to bag the items. But bags would have only gotten me another couple of inches. I took it all out. Now I'm setting up Jaguar XJS IFS. I'll get it much lower. Plus I will not have any people's with camber and caster. I-beams are a bear to get aligned. Then you drop 5 lbs out of the air bags and you alignment goes out the the window.
I do have my Dream Beams with dick brakes on them for sale. It all just depends on how far away someone lives that would want them.

That is a nice lookin' Bump. I've never been a fan of lowering trucks. I mean it's a TRUCK right? I think most of them don't look very good. Yours is one of the exceptions. The rims and meats look awesome.
