The gremlins are back

Well just when I thought I got rid of the electrical gremlins they came back. I replaced my horrible corroded dimmer switch and now I dont have headlights but all my other lights work. I replaced my ignition switch, and my headlight switch but I dont know what else is in the circuit. Brakelight switch, turn signal switch, and sockets are all new any thoughts on where these guys could have ran to? Thanks for any input and all the fuses are good.

So, this is a shot in the dark but when I installed relays for my headlamps, I went crazy because they didnt work.

At the time, I did aviation electrical for a living, so I was feeling really stupid and refusing to ask for any help. I checked all my wiring, fuses, relays, cleaned grounds and finally I went and checked for voltage at the socket...apparently all the fiddling broke filaments in both bulbs; at the same time. High and low beams were gone. I dont recall dropping them or manhandling them, but I did something.

Have you checked for voltage at the lamp plug?

Also, it's not unheard of for the terminals to back out of the plug...take a look at the thing and see if you can tell if any of the terminals pushed out when you pressed the plug into the new switch.

When you say that you replaced the sockets, is that the headlamp sockets? How good are your splices?
