I have spent the day sanding and painting the cab, it looks great. I may need another coat of paint for some areas as the primer is thin ans sanded through with 400 grit. I am not ready to put color on it so I may start with the doors and or fenders. Picks soon.

disk brakes

Where did you get the kit for the disk brakes? What do you plan on using for your power booster?

In the photo of your shock mount I couldn't help but notice what looks like an added filler/plug on the center of the diff. housing. Have you checked it out?

Yes it was added by the origional owner. I kept it as it looks easier to fill with.

I have been sanding and painting and as I get the all the small timgs looking i keep finding smaller things. When will it end !!!!! LOL I had the door ready but there was something bothering me. the edge of the door that gets hit with you open the door looked out of shape slightly. I hammered that mack in shape and now I need to add a little body filler. I think after this last adjustment the door will be as good as I can do it. I will mount it and give the body and door one last sand with 400g spray it white and move on to the other door. I will paint the blue or green when I have all the other body panels on the truck so I get a straight line. at least that is the plan. I may change my mind.

Probably because the parts haven't been degreased yet!
