Error code U1900?
Does anyone know what this means, how can I fix it.
Pleas no technical jargon or abbreviations that I will not understand.
Plain english would be great.
The error code is for a 2006 F-250 6.0L Diesel automatic.
I have a tow controller installed it came with the truck when it was new.

I don't know a way of testing, but if it ends up being the ficm, this company had a great reputation on this site

I have looked at the engine and can't see anything like that.

The reason for asking if there is a test for the FICM is this.-
When I first bought the truck it was OK, then within a month of buying it the wrench light came on so I took it to the dealers ship to get it fixed when went to pick the truck up they gave me this piece of paper. That said this

By the way the cycling is not difficult to hear
It seemed odd to me at the time but the light didn't come on after they did this, but the weird cycling of the fuel injectors can be heard every time I turn the truck on or off.
I have never heard an other truck cycle the fuel injectors like that does anyone else have this happen on there truck?
