275/60/R15 Tires

Hey folks,

I was wanting to keep the stock chrome 5 spoke rims on my 1992 f150. WAs curious if any one has ever run 275/60/R15 tires on the stock rims? -OR- will they fit with out issues? MY truck has been lowered ect. ect. I just dont like the look of the 235/75R15 tires...

You'd be going about an inch and a half wider and almost an inch shorter. I don't know for sure, but it doesn't sound like a big enough change to get you in trouble.

Well I purchased two 265/70/15 for the rear of the vehicle just to get me through the winter snow a little more easily here in Missouri..."They are are not low profile enough for my taste." The picture of the rear tires on my profile are 265/70/15 ..I think the next set I get will be a 255/60/15 unless any one else has suggestions...I recently purchased Crown 2" lowering coil springs for the front...SO....The current picture in my garage is stock 235/75/15 on the front with a 3 inch drop. I will edit it once I lower it another 2 inches in the front..

I'll need a lower profile tire I think. I'll do some more research and see how that goes

I've had the BFG version of that on the back of my '89 on a 8" rim. Never bolted them on the front to see if they run into anything.

Update:

265/70R15 tires are a little to tall for the muscle car look on a truck...255/60R15 look alot better on stock rims....
