'08 up rear springs on a '97 F350?
I read a post about a guy using '08 up springs on his '04 F350. He used PMF hangers, drilled some holes and bolted them on. The '08 up springs are 8" longer. So increased payload and a much better ride. Has this ever been done on a OBS? I thought about using some factory '08 up hangers, and welding/bolting them on. I don't see why this wouldn't work?

Even though we don't have the locating holes on our frames, why couldn't we just measure, drill, bolt &/or weld the front spring hangers? Then we could bolt the '08 up springs on our OBS! If the 99-04 SD springs bolt right on, I don't see why this wouldn't work on our trucks.

I have his PMF RSK on my '97, I'm very happy with it.
