Question complete engine build/ Injectors? OTHER MODS

Alright my main question is injectors what do the companies mean by the % nozzle size and yalls opinions on what i should run with the rest of my mods.

Rosewood talks about 200cc with 30% over or 160cc with 80% over nozzles do they mean the nozzles are 30% over stock flow or they flow 30% over the barrel size?

Full Forces Injectors show 160cc-180cc option with 100% over nozzles would they be the same as Rosewood or am I just crazy?

NOTE THIS TRUCK IN MY DAILY DRIVER, AND I DO TOW NORMALY A 77 K5 BLAZER AND A 75 K10 CHEVY TRUCKS BOTH ARE MUD TOYS HAULED ON ONE TRAILER AT TIMES its my only truck i do everthing in

I DO ALSO HAVE GAUGES AND MORE TO COME ALSO AND WILL HAVE 4 INCH TURBO BACK EXAUST AS WELL AS A 6637 AIR FILTER

i may or may not be forgetting some stuff just please add in anything you think i may need to add my eyes and ears are open to all info

Lets say you're looking at 160/100s.

160 is the amount of fuel the injector will flow per 1000 shots of fuel.

100 is the percent bigger the holes are in the nozzles. So 100 is 100% bigger then stock. So you double the size of the holes.

I don't recall the size of our stock injectors are iirc there 130/0, someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

That's a lot of injector for a pull truck imo. This is where I'm going to back out and read,I know some about where youre going but there are a lot more knowledgeable guys here that cam guide you better then I can.

Are you going after 550+ Hp? If you go that big with injectors fuel mods are going to be a must plus a regulated return. I would contact joey at terminator and get his opinion on the t500 supporting those sticks. Hybrids use less oil, so I've read. Like I said other smarter guys will be along

I went with 200cc/80% hybrids and now I'm wishing I would've stayed with A codes. The power is great in short bursts, but I can't tow 9000lbs up hill with out egt issues. it could just be something I'm missing because others seem to be doing just fine, but if I were to do it again, I would go with 160/100's.

As for the 6.0 cooler, I used the 31 row and noticed a 50* increase in egt's due to it blocking air to the intercooler. I think the 26 row would be a better choice.

it will have a custom fuel system from the tank all to the engine heads with regulated return (in the post under engine) and the t500 should support it easy (im sure i think) there hybrids so rosewood sais i know people runnin stock hpop on 238/100 stage 3 hybrids let me know if im wrong

im goin for what ever i can get really i just want some good injectors for the s366 turbo with out floodin the streets with black smoke but enought fuel to make her go and not so high EGT's

I have a 38r and Wicked Wheel 2. I have a new tow tune to load and was told to tighten the wastegate, so I'll give that a try and let you know.

That 6637 probably isn't going to flow near enough air. I have P.I.S. 160/30's and it's coming up short. If you have proper tuning, you can run those sticks but you are going to want the right turbo. You may want to go with a T4 set-up if you are doing all the other engine work, mine as well have a turbo set-up that can grow with you. The 38R will probably be too small for what you want to do.

According to Mark Kovalsky, there is no difference in cooling between the 31 row and the 26 row tranny cooler, so as Brad said, go with the slightly smaller one so as to not get in the way of other things that need airflow.

I have no idea where I got the notion you were going to go with a 38R from. Did you edit your original post?

Though it's not needed and you seem to be throwing a lot of Money at the truck to insure reliability why not throw a girdle in there too. This way if you ever get the itch for even more power you know you're bottom end is as stout as it gets.
