horn button for '95 f150 4x4 lariat
Hello, everyone. I haven't posted to this site for a LONG time.
I'm a little surprised that I've never seen anyone complain about the lousy design of the TINY horn buttons on the steering wheel of my '95 F150 4x4 XLT.
On several occasions, I've needed to honk my horn when other drivers were about to pull out in front of me, or switch lanes into my lane. When I need the horn, I need it NOW, but the diminutive size and low profile of the horn buttons result in my hands frantically searching for the horn while I'm taking evasive action (and swearing at the driver AND the horn button design).
This seems like a very fundamental and stupid oversight on the designers' part. Do any other folks feel the same way? Does a simple fix exist? Thanks for your info.
Jim
