Yeh, Big relief that its finally sorted. As for what is next Brian, well I have a leaking front axle seal. Has been laeaking since day dot. I am still waiting for spicer diff rebuild parts to come over from the US. Also have to get to the bottom of the rear drive shaft. Have a slight thunking noise when you accelerate off the line. Going to rebuild the rear drive shaft including new spicer greaseable uni,s and new centre support bearing. Then I can move onto more mods, once the broken parts are sorted.

The thunking noise is probably one of 2 things.

Ring gear backlash (can't do much unless you re-shim the ring and pinion) or centre bearing spacing (the truck will vibrate a bit off the line if that is the case).

Big F350,
Had the rear diff done up when the LSD went in. The noise feels more like a broken mount up near the front of the truck. I have had a look at the centre bearing and the supporting rubber is pretty cracked and soft. Will start there and finish god knows where sorting it. This is that sort of truck.

Reg, as for next mods, I have to put in some overhead gauges to monitor things. Want to get the paint on the roof re done etc. New front bar after it rolled into a power pole, a few weeks ago, the list goes on.

Great news Wallsy! Solved at last! I'd classify that as 'fitted wrong'.

Also, don't be so sure that you wouldn't have picked up the fact that 2 transgo plates were present!. You may have noticed the plate on the VB and the one on the trans, realised that the plates were seperate items stuck onto each part, and then asked the question. A quick check of the 4R100 schematic would have shown that only 1 plate was requried.

Enjoy!
