Would these work in a 79 f150 4x4 4 speed?

If the other side exits close to the same place, I think the clutch pivot linkage may interfere.
Passenger side is usually easier to fit, it's the drivers side that wants to mess with the clutch, front driveshaft or the engine tower.

headers

I had a similar question, my 79 F150 4X4 has a 460 in it from and to change the headers to headman etc would involve a lot of work, including mods to the steering shaft as it would have fouled. i used the short headers on her (from a lincoln) and then had the ceramic coated in a chrome look for about $90.

Looked awesome!
