trucks dying, fuel starvation?

I have an 08 6.4l and since it got really cold out my truck will die while driving. It sputters and dies, like it ran out of fuel,I'll cycle the key and within 10 min of trying it will start back up. I've put in diesel kleen in multiple tanks and I just changed the fuel filters, they were pretty dirty. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this issue. Thanks for your time.

Change the filters again.

Sounds like it might be waxed up because of the weather.

I'll check them but is there a way to clean them out instead of buying new filters

Got to let them dry out. Set them inside so they can warm up. Just the lower one is probably the one effected.

Even with the additives added you think it waxed up. Isn't that the point of the additive to keep it from doing that. Is this going to happen every time it's cold out.

I had an 03 and never had a problem either. Is there any type of filter in the tank that might be getting clogged up.

Have you ever heard of the screen getting gunked up, or is that not likely to happen?
