Just picked up a '55 F250 w/6 cyl and 4 on the floor... a real stump puller... more a tractor the way it's geared. But that's for another day, right now I want to get some help with steering. I have found PS conversion kits for V8's but nothing for an IL 6. Any suggestion? Appears there is little to no room to put a pump.

 

Look back at some of my old posts, plenty of pics and write up of hanging a PS pump on a 223 6 cyl. Basically I added a double pulley to my alternator and fabbed a bracket to hold a Saginaw style box. I am assuming you want to do a Toyota style PS conversion?

 

Bingo... why didn't I think about a double pulley. Yes, it appears the best option is the Toyota box. Now to find a reasonably priced kit and I can get to work! Thanks for the help.
