Looks good, the led are the parking lights right?

Are they HID high and low beam? Where did you get the kit?

I don't normally go for HID but on the f100 I probably need to keep the current draw down.

yeah i have the leds wired in the parking lights. Each side of the bulb is separate so if you wanted to you could even wire it into the signal but i didn't. They are HI/LOW HID's its basically one bulb that has an electric magnet that moves the bulb in and out. works pretty good actually. Its an ebay kit i got a while ago. Seems like good quality though. I haven't tried them driving yet since the project isn't quite done yet but they seem nice and bright. I Think they are 4000 or 4500K so they are nice and white not blue

Cool, thanks for the info.
We have to have amber indicators so I couldn't wire them that way, but 1 for daytime running and 2 for parkers would work.

Did ours today and am really happy with it, would trade the normal body lift bumper gap any day for the right height but sticking out a little farther gap

Absolutely any time. I'm really glad i could help you out. Your truck looks awesome. If you wanted to do your back bumper it's really easy too. just a matter of drilling a total of 4 holes and re-aligning the bumper higher.

leave the frame bolt toward the cab.

and the one on the bumper toward the back and you can re-align the bumper and then drill new holes for the other bolts you took out. Really easy actually

Also I'd like to see some more pictures and info on your ladder bars. That's the next thing i really wanna make for my truck.

Here is a really delayed pic i finally got of the 88 bumper brackets also. Would have prob worked with some fabing and bending.

okay cool i thought the 87-91 would work, but this worked just as easy

thanks, its actually my uncles truck, bought it brand new back in the 84.

our rear bumper that came on our donor truck must be aftermarket, because its not adjustable bracket wise like yours, and my one on my 97 is brackets like yours also.

as for the ladder bars, They are L&L bars from back in the 80s, he put them on shortly after the lift. not much info on them though, they mount to the axle housing with two u bolts per bar, then mount to the brackets up on the frame, and the frame end of the bar has a heim on it.

We just had the bars sandblasted and then we painted em blue to match the shock boots and the motor.

here are some pics

hard to see but they are on it in this picture back in the day
