Turbine Housing Pn#'s

I've been looking at getting the 1.0 housing for my pickup and learned about differences in wheel trim (79 v 84) and issues with the correct turbine housing.

I got a little curious and looked at the numbers on my current housing.

The numbers on the driver's side are " 670299" "084"

Then directly under that appears to be "dug" (r)

Now I've searched all these numbers and not found anything.

Just was hoping maybe another 97 owner can pull numbers from their turbine housing to see if maybe this was a weird 97 thing.

I would be surprised if it actually was an 0.84 housing as the truck does not boost until 2000-2100.

Sounds like a stock 1.15 housing. I will look at my stocker tomorrow for you

Mine stock one is out and it says ar115m1. Then I see a 7a06. Where did you find your numbers?

They are located on the drivers side of the turbine housing. It is the only location on the housing that has anything. The top surface has nothing on it and the drivers side has nothing on it.

Yeah I am. The compressor housing has a 1.15, or 1.10 stamped on it, I forget which. The numbers on my exhaust housing are on the drivers side aka left side as viewed if sitting in the drivers seat.

I think I am going to add in the 1.0 housing and see what happens. It may just be a weird casting number or something. In any event, if it is a 0.84 it isn't performing like one and I'll try a 1.0 because the turbo is coming off anyway.

I like mine. It was hard for me to tell the difference because I did t-500 intercooler and 1.0 housing at the same time. So my truck was down for a while.
