wiring issue

Soo I have no brake or tail lights, or rear marker light. When I plug in a trailer the tail lights don't work either. Where should I look first?

Fuse is good. Checked that I have power with one of those probe things that looks like a screwdriver and the handle lights up if I have power. No power in the rear of the truck though so its between somewhere...

The plug that goes to the prop valve wouldn't affect it right?

I'd suggest tracing the wires from rear to front and visually inspect for breaks. They usually run inside the left frame rail. There should be a connector near the left rear... besides making sure they are plugged in that is a good place to probe also.

I'm wondering if boy genius my mechanic cut a wire while he was messing with the lines for the new prop valve. Since I have discs in front and a new hydroboost system I got a new prop valve from a late 70's f series and full size bronco from jbg.... so since its different he had to bend the brake lines for me since I didnt wana goof it up. Coulda cut a wire...
