Does a 2011 F150 Lariat have a heated/cooled seat air filter, and where/how is it removed? Almost out of warranty---is it time to clean or change it?

 

Mine is located in the back of the seat, granted that is for the expy, but I believe the F150 is the same seats.

Should be able to unzip the back of the seat cover and you will find it there around the ran. Just pull up on the filter to unclip the plastic pc on the end of the filter.

Should be able to wash and dry the filter and reinstall, or I suppose just get new filters.

 

Yes, under the seat. Move the seat all the way forward and up.

It is a small white round filter about 2 1/2" diameter.

1/4 turn will take it off.

I think its a 30k service item, but really depends on your usage.

You can just blow it out and/or switch it with the passenger seat that might see less usage.

IIRC they are pretty high, like $30.00 each.
