HID Headlights and Fog Lights Problems

I was wondering if anyone else may be having this problem.

I had a friend of mine install the H13 Hi/Low HID kit and the 9145 HID fog light kit on my 2011
F-250 Lariat. He just told me that HID Nation says that the relays are not required so these
were not installed.

My problems is when I turn the truck on either both head lights work, or one may work or the other may work. I have to turn the lights on and off multiple times to get them to work.

Sometimes when I start the truck one headlight will come on and one fog light will come
on without the fog light **** being pulled out. Sounds like mis-wiring to me but he swears
it's right. I have not had time to take a look and I will soon but was wondering if anyone else had this problem and resolution.

I had some HID's that would sometimes work and sometimes not. It was a ballast problem.

I went back and made sure everything is wired up correctly and it is. I am getting new ballast from HID Nation.

I also didn't notice the problem until the weather started cooling off around here.

I have problems with my HID's as well. They work fine when it's warm out, but as soon as winter comes around I have to turn them on and off numerous times to get the drivers side to turn on. I am looking at totally replacing them with something from another company.

This is almost always caused by low voltage, install a relay setup and you should be good to go. On my 04 I had to do that with both fogs & headlamps, since then no problems at all.
