Speedway disc brake swap - replace outer race (bearing cup)?

I think if you look inside the hub, there are usually two cutouts in the area the cup seats against. You can put a drift (chisel) in those cutouts, against the back of the cup, and get it started out.

It was not bad... I got it out with a small hammer, and flathead screwdriver...





I used a custom parts shrinker to help get the new race in, along with a brass hammer and punch.


When I do the brakes again, I will cool the grease gasket rather than playing around to get it to sit.
