Oil is black / brown, trans is red, power steering is red, antifreeze is usually green. If you checked all your fluids and only the PS fluid is low then I guess I'd have to bet you have a leak in your PS.

P/S will turn brown (black in extreme cases) with age along with trans fluid. I'd suggest getting some engine de-greaser and spraying down the pump, lines, and steering box. Use hot water (DIY car wash is good for this, just don't get caught) to rinse it off. Just don't blast the ever loving crap out of it at full pressure. Then get some UV dye from NAPA (comes in small brown bottles) and add it to the P/S reservoir. Get one of those neat little UV lights and yellow tinted glasses as well. Wait a day or so (depending on the severity of the leak and how often you drive it) and then use the UV light to begin searching. The dye will appear radioactive green and should help you pinpoint the leak. Good luck!
