On y 78 150/ bronco I always run Lt 235-75-R15 Or Lt 31x10.50-R15's. And always with a all terrain tread cut. I never get stuck either.

I had great success with Mastercraft Courser MTs in the snow when we had the bad storm back in 2009 with snow and ice. They performed well in the mud and on road to. I had them on my 79 Bronco. 33x12.50-15. I sold it and now have a 78 Bronco. Im gonna go with the same tires but only in size 31x10.50-15. Better acceleration and milage and they cost less.

On my F250 I'm running General Grabber AT2 245/75/16 on 7" rims. It is an aggressive M+S rated tread and has done great in snow. No 4wd needed (yet) on the road.
