Waiting for the police escort to the drag strip. I followed Kevin and the traffic was hot and stop all the way there. I was so freaked that if lose vacuum/brakes and plow into the back of him! Luckily that didn't happen!
I was very happy with the way my truck performed on this trip, pulling the 5er. This was my longest pulling trip to date. When we got home, We unloaded the 5er, went up to the house and backed in the driveway. Hit the brake and it was hard as a rock! Opened the hood and heard the vacuum pump making this wierd noise. Yep, you guessed it.... vacuum pump shot! Looks like the good Lord was watching over us on our trip! He tends to do that when we least expect it.
I think everyone's pretty well summed up everything lol. This was my first RRE and, holy cow, what a terrific vacation!
My number one favorite part about coming was finally being able to meet some of you guys. Now when I read posts on here, I imagine the persons voice talking lol.
Not to give one person precedence over anyone else, but my 2nd favorite part: The Mistress. I knew Kevin had a nice truck, but as Todd said, pictures just cannot do it justice. Iv seen less clean trucks with >10 miles on them! That is a drop dead gorgeous truck. It made me nervous to assist with the seat rebuild lol. And a big congrats on Best of Show!
My two least favorite parts were the stupidity involved with the dyno and my fuel mileage... Both of which couldn't be avoided. The dyno crew was a joke (and NOT Clays fault).
On a side note, my truck runs 11.79 in the 1/8th mile

Thanks JP this weekend was great finally got to meet Todd,Aaron,Nate,Gabe,Thomas,JP,Brian and there family's. We go to a lot of shows but this is my favorite of all. We had a great time hanging out with all of you. I am ready for next year.
Here is a convoy pic. If you look closely, between Aaron and Tyler is little Toyota Yaris. After the event, we were making fun of the guy for getting stuck in the convoy. Kevin's wife Angie starts cracking up and proceeds to tell us that his DD is a Yaris! LMAO!! I guess when you have a truck as bad azz as the mistress, it doesn't matter what your other ride is! Lol

Glad you guys had a good time and good to hear you are coming back next year. I didn't get to meet you all but enjoyed meeting the ones of you I did.
