Will leave there early Thur. morning, traveling i77 to Wytheville VA to 81. may even get there early enough to make the drive up the mountain. Anyone taking those routes wanna meet up, let me know.

Anyone have a link or something to the itinerary? I looked on RiffRaff's page, but can only find the general poster. I can't seem to find anywhere where it lists all the events, when, where, etc. I'm sure it's buried up somewhere in the 86 pages of this thread...
My wife and kids are still planning the trip even though Bill isn't planning on coming down with us.

Some are already there, many are traveling and many more will leave in the next day or so. Just wanted to remind everyone of a couple things.
First, for all those that plan on going on the mountain ride with Ben, please be respectful of the land. He is feeding us and offering us his land to visit so lets all try and take care it. I'm sure if you want to go off roading, I think there will be places to do that, but be sure and ask Ben first.
Second, or food list is growing very nicely and it looks like we will have lots of food so please come if you and try and bring something.
Third, the owners of the KOA have been great to us and overlooked things that most wouldn't. Let's all be on our best behavior while at the campground so we will be invited back. No spinning tires, blowing smoke, fast driving and so on. Kids will be running around everywhere and we must keep it safe. If you do work on your trucks there, you MUST keep it clean, no oil, grease or fuel left on the ground.
Forth, Please make the FTE brotherhood proud of us there. The town of Newport has always supported us and we don't want to change that. We already have a full police escort to the drag strip on Friday, not need in trying to get a personal one.
Fifth, While we are at the fairgrounds, there could and will be a lot of non FTE people there and as we know, some are just not a cool as we are and it will be up to you and each of us to keep things in line. No need to prove anything from any of us.
Lastly, please clean up around camp if you see a mess, in the past, the clean up detail has fallen on a couple and that shouldn't happen, if you help make a mess, then help clean it up. And again, be on Family behavior around the campground and try and keep the noise down after midnight as we don't have the entire campground.
Thanks and I'll see everyone soon.

what he said ^^
after last years crap I believe this whole deal almost was homeless.
We ALL must be courteous! This campground I believe is privately owned and the owners are very particular about things.just fyi.
when coming in to register the road curves and goes up a bit of a hill. I recommend getting to the top or stopping at the bottom. The gravel is loose and just ask josh...traction can be an issue lol.
See you all soon!!
