Afternoons gang.

I had a good day at the farm. Regular duties, no injuries. Sun was out this morning and patchy sun this afternoon. Supposed to get 3"-4" of rain over the next two days.

Just cuz I show up in a '15 F 450 with an equipment trailer, he thinks I need any ole POS to take home

 

Evening Tiny and Charlie. Sorry to hear about the truck... Actually had some sun for half the day. A few fast moving squalls came through this afternoon and spoiled it tho...

 

There's one out there with my name on it. I just have to find it....LOL


I need to learn more about the v 10's. I know the mod motors had some issues, but I didn't keep up.


Never figured I would have anything without a 460, or a diesel.

 

I know nothing about these new rigs. I think I'll stick with my old junk.............lol

 

Evening gang, good day in the shop also, working on the 66; putting in a overhead light.

 

Evening Allen. Harley and I got the heat working temporarily on WMO and a good start on the new pre-heater for the veggie oil. We've been using the test set up I made 3 years ago and never got a new one built. The old one burnt out last week so finally getting around to building a permanent one...

 

Sounds cool Don, a lot of work?

 

Fairly complex Allen. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. I'm adding several new controls and safety features plus a lot of sheet metal and insulation. Should last a lifetime tho...

I like your weather man a lot better than mine. KXL was calling for 5" and said Clackamas County was in the stand by to stand by OMG near panic stage.


We could have up to 5+ inches here. Wonder if I should go put the batteries back in the boat........

CONFIDENCE CONTINUES TO INCREASE THAT A CLASSIC ATMOSPHERIC RIVER TYPE PRECIPITATION EVENT WILL SET UP OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST OVER THE WEEKEND AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY MONDAY. PROJECTED RAINFALL ALONG THE COAST IS FORECASTED TO BE
AROUND 4 TO 8 INCHES...WITH 2 TO 5 INCHES EXPECTED OVER THE
INTERIOR LOWLANDS.


They are also calling for "King" tides on the coast running at 9' with a possible 1 to 2 foot storm tide on top of that.
