NASCAR is over for this year so I have a full weekend planed......
Got any "spare" hunks of brass stock at work? I'm looking for a 2" dia piece about 4" long to make a bushing for the screw machine...........

Trying to send a bunch of clouds your way in a true sharing spirit.
I would have to look, I have lots of 1" 1-1/2" brass round stock I use for big drift punches, but I would have to corner one of the machine shop weenies for info on bigger brass round stock.
If you gave dimensions, I might even be able to get it machined FOR you!.
That would be too much to ask for, but would be much appreciated!
While were talking............Would it be possible for you to pick something up in pewjene for FREE for me and hold it till we can figure out how to get the camper jacks and downrigger to you? This is what it is: Industrial Materials Exchange - IMEX - Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County
Would make changing the solution in my hot tank much less costly......

If you do the phone work, I could most likely store it at the plant until we could make arrangements for our co. truck to take it to the Portland plant, and you could have one of your "agents" pick-up/drop there like we did with another "item".
Nope. It's loose and you'll need to bring your flatbed........
I could do that! I'll give them a call on Monday and let you know what I find out, and thanks!

Good morning gang, thought I'd check in to see what's been happening. The screw machine is coming along nicely Don. Looks like I've got a bit of catching up to do to see all that's been going on. TTYL
If we could set that up, I should be able to send the jacks and downrigger with my "agent"!
Morning John! Were not busy around here..................
I will have you know, this is going to take a lot of self-control on my part.............I hate EWEB to the core, they own all the hydro-projects here up-river, so I get my power from them..............They are the most miserable POS excuse for a utility co. ever established.
But for Don, no pain is too much!
