Oregon's 2014 Official BS thread. May you all be full of it!
Rob. I just spent an hour on the phone with Maudene. She is still a sweetheart! She told me to come by anytime and I told her I'd wait till after Christmas to come see her. I think maybe I can make a deal on some rigs with her yet. Thanks for getting ahold of her for me!

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. I dropped out last night and couldn't get back on. WiFi here died apparently. Sometime right after that and about 2 minutes after putting Captain America in the DVD player, I died too. Woke up around 2300 curled up like a pretzel at the dinette with a neck so stiff that I'm still trying to straighten it out.
Had to run into Tillamook this evening and get some diesel and propane. After we got off the mountains today, I knew I was dead so I also checked in at the Mortuary. They said I had to come back. While I looked dead, they were concerned that I was still breathing. So I dejectedly spent my money on the diesel and propane.
Another long day proving that elk belong in the mountains and man belongs on the hammock, tied to a tree next to a lake with a fishing pole in hand (bait optional).
Chis, my elk hunting partner is beating on my camper door at 0430 every morning for a cup of coffee and we are headed to the mountain by 0500. You are more than welcome to join us. We are desperately looking for a volunteer to "bird dog" the brush for us while we sit on a stump in the sun and wait for the elk to come to us.
