Getting through today was like pushing rope.

 

Sounds like it was a tough one Dave, I just started my 7 days off after a round of nights.

 

Death-camp prisoners have had better days than mine.......

I can't think of one good thing that happened today..........oh, wait.......It's over!

One of these millennia, it will be the Seattle Mariners.............but not until they learn how to score runs, and have more than one good pitcher in the rotation.

 

It would probably help if someone explained to them what a baseball was and then started drawing pictures of the bat. Once each team member can explain those two basic fundamental tools of the game, we can start on bases and what they are supposed to be used for!

 

I remember when they had some guys named Griffey jr., Edgar Martinez, Jay Buhner and a few others who actually knew how to hit the ball, and some pitcher named Randy Johnson who absolutely terrified opposing batters, backed up by a competent rotation and a deep bull-pen............But that was WAY WAY WAY back in the mid/late 90s.

 

Yep, those were great players, but lets be careful with how many "WAY" you use........I'm feeling old enough as it is.
