Evening Oregon FTEr's survived the week of driving hwy 101 on the North Oregon and South Washington Coast.

 

Real easy to find us. Drive to Austin Junction, turn left on to Hwy 7. Drive to mile post 11 and turn left onto the forest service road. About a mile or two up the road you'll see us on the left side next to the creek. Come on up!

The shortbed 67. Haven't touched it at all. Just not enough time. Rick Watkins called me yesterday and offered me a job driving his dump truck down town the month of August. $40/hour, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for a month. I turned him down.......

 

Can't Harley take the job?

I want to make it out to see you guys might give it a go, will see. Better let you get some sleep, what time you guys shoving off? Oh wait I have a friend that lives to the east of me that was in the Army in 1967-1969 was a radio repairman on helicopters, this sound familiar. The only thing was he never got to Nam, he was stationed up at Ft Richardson up in Alaska.

 

He worked on H-21, Bell H-13, and Bell UH-1.

 

We'll be lucky to get out of here by noon..... It will be late afternoon before we get there.

Sounds real familiar...... Only I did it with bullets flying around........lol

Just back from the farm. Got most of my projects finished.
